“ | We were in Hell... | ” |
–Villager Scout Squad 33 Captain |
The Age of the Players, alternatively known as the Players' Age is an era when the players had the power and leadership, and it was also the dark age for the villagers. The Players Age started when players came to numerous villages and had villagers serve them. The players made the villagers suffer and die, and brought hell upon them. It ended some time after the birth of the Villager King and was succeeded by the Villager Revolution.
Tyranny of the Players[]
A number of players came to different villages and seized control and rule over the villages. Players had villagers come before them, and promised that if the villagers supply whatever the players want or need, the players and villagers can live peacefully together. However, that was all a lie.
The players used villagers for use as their toys. The players did whatever they wanted with the villagers: Killing, enslaving, or using them on experiments.
The players separated the villagers from what they loved and dreamed of. They took away the villagers' homes, burning villages to the ground. They would separate villagers from their families, friends, dreams, and hopes. The players continued doing so, and the villagers could not do much about it.
A Spark of Hope[]
Unbeknownst to the players, a different villager was born among the villagers one day. The baby villager was a villager with unique and amazing trading abilities, able to trade dirt for diamonds. Villagers realized that this young villager was their very hope, and all villagers allied together to keep the baby hidden. Many villagers sacrificed themselves to keep the young villager safe from players, who were too blinded by their pride to realize the villagers' reasons for sacrifice.
When the young villager grew and villagers alike were born, the villagers became a powerful force to be reckoned with and started their campaign against the players, starting the transitional era of the Villager Revolution.
