The episode continues Steve's storyline, where he is saved by Mr.Colder and Enchanter, who then fight against Blue Demon.

Plot[]

Continuing the events from the last episode, Colder points his sword to Steve, telling him to join them if they succeed. Meanwhile, two vexes begin lunging towards Blue Demon, only to be pummeled on the ground easily. He notices one more vex flies somewhere else. The vex finds the three players and proceeds to lung towards them, only to be slashed by Colder’s sword to their death. Slightly annoyed, Colder tells Steve to rest up and continue their dialogue after the threats are eliminated. He and Enchanter then head forward as Steve weakly sinks and leans himself against a dirt pillar. Meanwhile Blue Demon finds the remaining vex and kills them without remorse, then mocks the evokers as cowards, as they simply await until their opponent become tired. Not long after, he encounters the two skilled players.

Beginning the fight, Colder tumbles himself while Enchanter throws his shield towards Blue Demon, who blocks the strike in shock. Colder attempts to land a strike on Blue Demon, only to be blocked with his trident and he attempts to impale Colder right after. Before he can, however, Enchanter shields the attack and destroys a few grounds Blue Demon stood on as he hops away. Blue Demon is interested and fascinated with the two’s fighting style then begins explaining their battle styles with Steve doing the same thing. Then, Enchanter repeatedly shield-bashes towards Blue Demon before Colder appears and drives his sword forward, which he narrowly avoids it then hops on a nearby tree.

After the short fight, Enchanter notes how strong Blue Demon is compared to other mobs they’ve encountered, but Colder assures their victory as all water zombies are the same. Blue Demon then reveals his speaking ability to the players, telling them that their arrogance would cause them to fall, to Colder’s shock. Off screen, the drowned moves on a dirt pile, squatting while aiming his trident on, telling Steve to watch how he slaughters the two players.

The fight resumes, with Enchanter hurtles towards Blue Demon and destroys the dirt pillar he squatted on. He lands on the ground and clashes against Colder. Blue Demon is knocked back towards Enchanter and repeatedly strikes on his shield until he is able to knock him away to his side. Colder enters in and swing his sword to Blue Demon twice, which he is able to dodge both of it. Enchanter recovers and begins running erratically throughout the battlefield, destroying dirt and, somehow, cobblestone blocks with his shovel as Blue Demon hops between the block piles. From behind a dirt pillar, Steve notices that Blue Demon is outmaneuvering them, but also tries to separate them.

Eventually, Blue Demon throws his charged trident on Enchanter’s shield, causing him to be electrified and stunned in place. Blue Demon takes the chance and attempts to impale him, but Colder interrupts by smashing the trident with his sword. Blue Demon strikes him with his trident, which at first he is able to block, but is then knocked away to Steve after get hit by the electrified trident. Colder, lying on the ground, demands Steve to tell all know about Blue Demon. Steve tells him to get away, as he has yet to show his true power. Right after, a trident lands on the place where Colder was, which he barely able to dodge. Steve then warns him to avoid touching those tridents.

Meanwhile, Enchanter is knocked back and overwhelmed by Blue Demon’s rapid strikes, disarming his shovel and causing his shield to be thrown away on his side. He attempts to retain it back, but Blue Demon quickly lands a hit on both Enchanter and his shield, knocking him out. Thinking Blue Demon is distracted, Colder charges at him and attempts to land a blow, only to be impaled by his trident.

With the players defeated, Blue Demon squats above the dirt pillar Steve leaned on. He assures him that the situation has been handled and everything almost goes as he expected. He then reminds Steve about their last discussion and asks him whether he has changed his mind or he still clings on his so called true peace.

The scene transitions to a night in the middle of a stony biome, a campfire set in the middle. Around it, there’s a pink bed with BBQ Sauce perching on it, and Steve and Blue Demon facing towards each other. Steve asks Blue Demon about the sudden changes that happen on the world that he can’t understand. Blue Demon gives him the answer, blaming on the players who dominate the world for a very long time, but with some of their “signature” abilities like inventory and item wielding becoming universal, the mobs who once were ruled by the players has gained intelligence and sentience that can rival or even surpass the players themselves. BBQ Sauce then gives him one comical example, which is he and his sauce, which he will never share the recipe. Blue Demon continues, stating that now the mobs will take over and replace the players, for it is the inevitable choice of evolution, while the players must unite, else they will face complete extinction.

Steve then wonders why there are many divisions between the creatures of the world, despite them all wanting the same thing: having happy lives. Blue Demon counters him, explaining that haters will always exist no matter how good or great someone is, alike to the path of a true hero. He then asks him is he still wishes to be such hero, as evolution must accommodate all the changes that is happening.

The scene then switches to the present, with Blue Demon explaining that players very arrogant creatures who wish to maintain the power for themselves and hinder evolution, alike to the villagers. Colder interrupts his monologue, asking him what’s very wrong on fighting for himself and his own freedom. Blue Demon counters his words, stating that it’s only wrong when everyone does the exact thing. Colder responds with a sigh then asks who he is. Blue Demon proclaims that they will never stood a chance as there are many creatures in the world with unimaginable powers, and finally concludes that the age of the players has obviously come to its end.

After the conversation, a vindicator, evoker, and two pillagers are seen respectfully kneeling and bowing their heads, repeatedly saying the words "King". It is revealed that the Illager King arrives in the battle site, flanked by two Illager Riders and two vexes evilly cackling, flying above the troops. With the arrival of the king, Colder is confused and shocked while Blue Demon stretches his hands to his sides. With a deadpan expression, the king questions Blue Demon in a gibberish language the fact that they had a peace treaty, only to bluntly say how unfortunate he was. He grabs his axe from his back, which transforms into its melee state. The king says release and then performs the Horse Apparition Charge move, which kills Colder and Steve but barely misses Blue Demon. Upon Steve’s brink of death, Blue Demon apologizes him as he was blind in some way, and a moment before his death, Blue Demon says goodbye to him.

The scene switches to Steve’s vision, where he is in a different realm with dark ground, bright sky, and strange trees scattered throughout. A mysterious, shadowy figure slowly approaches ahead him, laughing and welcoming him in a world of his domain in a quirky voice, and the episode ends.
