Conscious items are unique items that have evolved and gained their own will, making them the fifth constituent of evolution among the other forces.
Overview[]
Throughout the entire saga of Annoying Villagers, items would be slowly updating their textures (choosing their preferences) and changing their behavior and property (evolving no longer following the games rules). Now, items are ready to be wielded by all creatures alike that want to be treated like any other comrade.
Woopie the Sword was the first item to gain consciousness, revealing himself to his second and current owner Steve. All Items are able to traverse and move freely throughout the Item Dimension. Woopie also possesses a key that allows him and his master Steve to be allowed through and from the dimension. Items that are worn can also choose who they are to be equipped with, as a golden helmet was seen equipped with Steve once returning back to the Overworld with Woopie the sword.
Relationship with Users[]
Conscious items follow a life-simulation game style that focuses on item usage, training, sustainability, and skill levels as the key factors for wielding items. Whilst an item is in the stages of gaining consciousness, they will continue to reflect that experience upon a Player until they gain their own 'will' too choose who wields them. An item can also be freed from their previous owner and bestowed upon another user, although it is the item that chooses who uses them. Woopie the sword wished to be wielded by a strong player. Other items depending on their functions (although that may no longer be the case) might have different wishes too.
Since items that have gained consciousness have high intelligence, they can prove to be a great asset in battle and be an extra helper. Following a trainer and pet style, each have their own separate roles to play; The owner is it's wielder and trainer that leads the pair, and the conscious item carries out the orders and attacks. Each one can benefit from their relationship once they have gained trust in each other and acquired good teamwork, much like a partnership.
