“ | I have been programmed to maintain the preservation of my master. Thus I shall not let you pass me. | ” |
–Corrupted Iron Golem, telling Shadow Herobrine his programming and purpose, Annoying Villagers 34 |
Corrupted Iron Golem was a deuteragonist in Annoying Villagers series. Serving his part as one of Mustard's Golems, the Corrupted Iron Golem was among the strongest specimen of Iron Golems seen in the series.
Being thrust in the battle along with many other golems, the Corrupted Iron Golem was tasked on keeping his master's salvation by battling against Shadow Herobrine and Null, gaining substantial upgrades in the process until his death in the hands of Shadow Herobrine.
Appearance[]
The Corrupted Iron Golem had the same stocky built body of the Iron Golem, except for a notable change in skin texture that distinguishes him from the other Iron Golems. Corrupted Iron Golem had a large mass of black pixel patterns on all over his body, spreading across his face, right arm and left leg, which appears to be obsidian. Out of the features of the Corrupted Golem's physical appearance, his glowing red eyes were the most eye catching feature.
Personality[]
The Corrupted Iron Golem was completely aware of his master's programming but unable to disobey it nor show his free will. He was significantly higher in intelligence than the other golems and in skill level. As such, he had a completely serious ego and resolute stance, rarely speaking to show his sapience. Being a protector and bodyguard, he was sometimes hardly active, having a bored expression at times and his gaze flickering randomly. Because of his temperament, he was kept alive by Mustard and improved, gaining newfound power in the process.
Biography[]
Background[]
Once the Corrupted Iron Golem was summoned, he would be frequently be Mustard's protector when Mustard went on missions for the Herobrine Forces. He would always be seen standing alongside him, acting as a bodyguard with a neutral expression and standing motionlessly. The Corrupted Iron Golem was a silent observer, only acting when necessary.
According to the timeline, he was first seen standing behind Mustard once he completed his mission on delivering three players to Glaive Herobrine. When Mustard began talking to an apparition of Notch, he stood with his back faced opposite to them, seemingly listening in.
In another mission, he was seen standing to the left of Mustard whilst he began to make observations. The Corrupted Iron Golem simply stood there silently and stared at his surroundings. Again, he appeared next to his master when he began taking notes on the Blue Demon.
Later, after the Herobrine Forces' mobs finished training, he was seen standing behind Mustard again as Reaper Herobrine made a speech to his servants.
At one point after Blue Demon finished hunting two Drowned, the Corrupted Golem appeared behind Mustard again as he explained the power potential in Blue Demon.
Later, after both Mustard and Blue Demon betrayed Herobrine Forces, the Corrupted Golem was seen standing motionlessly behind his master as he and Blue Demon were having a philosophical conversation.
Annoying Villagers[]
Forest Battle[]
“ | That's it. I summon you! Drag him out here! | ” |
–Mustard, commanding the Corrupted Iron Golem to bring Shadow Herobrine out of the forest Annoying Villagers 30 |
Mustard and a few of his golems were fighting Shadow Herobrine. At one point Shadow Herobrine ran off into a nearby forest. Two of the golems, Blueberry and Hot Dog, then chased after him. Mustard, irritated by this, pulled out a red eye and yelled "I summon you!”, and a low grunt can be heard, likely emitted by the Corrupted Golem. Meanwhile, Shadow Herobrine managed to slaughter Blueberry and immobilize Hot Dog with obsidian. As he began petrifying Hot Dog, the Corrupted Iron Golem suddenly appeared behind Shadow Herobrine and punched him out of the forest, causing him to land in front of Mustard, with the Corrupted Golem and Hot Dog followed. After a monologue Mustard spawned two more Golems and commanded them to attack Shadow Herobrine, until suddenly manipulated weapons appeared behind the hill, attacking Corrupted Golem and Hot Dog. Hot Dog was killed from the attack but the Corrupted Golem managed to evade the attack by using an ender pearl. Mustard was surprised, but flattered to see Null.
The Corrupted Iron Golem and the Blue Golem then began attacking Null. He lunged towards Null and delivered a triage of attacks him, but the Null barely blocked the attacks with his weapons. Null were pushed back and used his manipulated diamond pickaxe and sword to attack the Corrupted Golem, but he dodged the pickaxe and deflected the sword, then charged into Null. He managed to leap away behind the golem, as the golem turned back and tried to punch him, but Shadow Herobrine blocked the punch with obsidian. Witnessing the fight, Mustard realized that Shadow Herobrine and Null were stronger than he expected them to be. He was also concerned about his resources to spawn Golems, and so decided to do a "Strategic Retreat", leaving the Corrupted Golem and the Blue Golem behind to fight Shadow Herobrine and Null.
The Corrupted Golem then began attacking Null while the Blue Golem attacked Shadow Herobrine. Null first ran into the Corrupted Golem and manipulated his weapons to repeatedly hit the Corrupted Golem. The Golem was pushed back, but he managed to get close to him and punched him on the face, throwing him back. He then leapt towards Null, who attempted to use the manipulated weapons to disorientate him, but the weapons were easily deflected by the golem and he headbutted Null away.
The golem saw the blue golem being butchered by Null's weapon. Null then stormed his weapons at the golem, but to no avail, as the golem utilized his agility to easily dodge the weapon storm. He then grabbed a dirt block from the ground and flung it at Null, knocking him back. Corrupted Golem then jumped at Null and his hand opened up, revealing the Diamond Greatsword. He swung the sword at Null twice but missed, then Shadow Herobrine shot obsidian at him, with the Corrupted Golem jumped out of the way.
Shadow Herobrine, interested with the Corrupted Golem, told the Corrupted Golem to speak and show him his consciousness. He grunted in response, telling him his purpose, which is to maintain the preservation of his master. Shadow Herobrine then asked, if he could disobey his programing and had he achieved free will. Corrupted Golem then grunted his name, which is "dghbefgr934f3mkow0-12" and malfunctioned. Shadow Herobrine then told him that those who disobey rules had more potential than those who obey rules. Corrupted Golem then looked down at his hands, thinking about what Shadow Herobrine just said. The two then likely fight, which likely resulted in the immobilization of the Corrupted Golem or Shadow Herobrine just ran away. Although, what actually happened is unknown.
The Deathmatch[]
A while later, Corrupted Golem located Shadow Herobrine and hid behind a tree, as the vessel stood above a lower tree, observing Joe. Corrupted Golem then jumped off the tree and punched Shadow Herobrine out of the tree. As he landed, the Corrupted Golem ran into him and punched his obsidian shield. The two trade blows, until Shadow Herobrine hopped beside the golem and shot obsidian beam at him. The golem managed to use his hands to block it and then delivered a flurry of punches to Shadow Herobrine, who shielded the attack. Joe watched the fight in excitement, as Mustard retreated.
“ | So that iron golem. He was still following me. I must conserve energy for the pufferfish | ” |
–Shadow Herobrine while shielding Corrupted Iron Golem's punches Annoying Villagers 46 |
After Shadow Herobrine acquired more power from other vessels, he propelled himself to the golem, then bounced beside the tree and launched himself to the golem again, causing the golem to fell down. Corrupted Golem quickly recovered and dodged Shadow Herobrine’s obsidian beam, then pulled out his greatsword and sent it to Shadow Herobrine, which clashed with his obsidian. He then shot obsidian to the golem, who skillfully side flipped with his right arm, dodging the attack and then impaled his shield with his sword. As he landed, he repeatedly attempted to stab Shadow Herobrine with his sword, but he dodged the first two and blocked the next stabs with his obsidian fist. He then knocked the golem down with his obsidian cluster beam, then jumped over him and shot down obsidian, trapping him in. He then landed, rolled below to the Corrupted Golem, and pulled out a fiery ender eye. He uttered "Obsidian Machine Gun”, shooting obsidian poles to the golem in a rapid-fire way. Corrupted Golem quickly blew his greatsword up to break free from the cage and avoided the attack.
“ | Remarkable. He blew up the sword to free himself. I wonder. What else did he hide in this golem? | ” |
–Shadow Herobrine remarking the Corrupted Iron Golem's ability Annoying Villagers 46 |
Being recovered from the attack, the Corrupted Golem charged towards Shadow Herobrine and pounced him, but he backflipped away. The golem then tried to punch him but he dodged it and jumped above the golem to impale him with his obsidian beam. As he landed down, the golem counterattacked by punching him off, but he shot an obsidian cluster towards him, knocking him down. The golem then shot a sword towards him, throwing him away.
“ | Absurd! How many energy cores does he have?! | ” |
Mustard, who was a short distance away, slammed his hand to the ground, which three destruction eyes flied up and went over to the Corrupted Golem. With blue particles radiating off his body, he pulled out the Ruby Greatsword and charged towards Shadow Herobrine. The golem sent forth a storm of stabs with his sword, then stepped back, pulled out the Fire Staff, and through the staff, he shot Shadow Herobrine with a fiery laser, creating a huge flaming explosion.
Shadow Herobrine still persisted, and the fight raged on. Corrupted Golem smashed his greatsword to Shadow Herobrine, shattering part of his obsidian shield. He then attempted to slash him, but Shadow Herobrine blocked it with his obsidian. After a short standoff, the golem brandished his greatsword, destroying Shadow Herobrine’s obsidian and pushed him back slightly. The golem attempted to strike him with his greatsword, but he evaded the strikes and managed to jump behind the golem then shot him with his obsidian beam, which the golem barely managed to shatter it with his greatsword. The golem then tried to smash Shadow Herobrine, but he blocked it with his obsidian fist and shot obsidian towards him, which pushed him back. The golem still persisted and smashed his greatsword to Shadow Herobrine, who retaliated.
At one point the Corrupted Golem was pushed back and repeatedly impaled with obsidian. He then pulled out his Fire Staff, but Shadow Herobrine already knew the move, and so trapped the golem in an obsidian cage, dropping the staff down. Later Corrupted Golem managed to free himself from the obsidian cage and had a standoff against Shadow Herobrine. Eventually, Shadow Herobrine received additional energy and began to temporarily spasm with blue electricity emitted from his body. Shadow Herobrine then shot a spiraling obsidian cluster straight at the Corrupted Golem which directly hit him and severed his left arm as he was shot away.
After the duel, his master somehow carried him all the way to a savanna biome, where he was lying on a wooden plank as dead. His body was severely damaged, with some parts destroyed and his left arm fragmented
Skills and Abilities[]
Corrupted Iron Golem was shown to be extremely powerful and skilled, likely the most powerful golem within Mustard's arsenal, able to go on par against a powerful vessel like Shadow Herobrine. He was seen to have the capacity of swordsmanship, being able to easily lift and brandish a large sword. He could also extend his arm much like other golems to maximize his attack range potency.
Like most of Mustard’s golems, the Corrupted Iron Golem could run in a quadrupedal fashion, constantly alternating between two limbs or four, giving him more edge in combat. This, combined with his high arm strength, extendable arms, and agility, allowed him to have an excellent mobility normally unreachable by normal iron golems. In addition, he had a rather quick reflexes and attacks, proven in his fight against Null, which allowed him to unleash a burst of lightning-fast attacks for massive damage.
Being an Iron Golem, Corrupted Iron Golem had a brute strength, enough to send Shadow Herobrine high into the air. His body had an immense durability, being partially obsidian, able to withstand countless diamond sword strikes without taking damage and arcane obsidian blows. Despite his inability to disobey his programming, he had been shown having a higher intelligence compared to other golems, evidenced in his capability to utilize weapons better compared to other golems.
