Crossbows are weapons mostly used for long range combat and are occasionally used to block hits and knock away enemies.
Overview
The crossbow can be crafted or acquired through villager trades. The Crossbow is mainly used by Pillagers, Villager Knights and Villager Scouts, but has also been seen being used by Players and Pandas.
Usage and Abilities
The standard crossbow deals much more damage than the bow, but takes much longer to reload. Crossbows are great for aerial assaults because they can be charged up swiftly and allowed for a barrage of arrows. The pandas use this strategy to take out multiple Villager Scouts in a village settlement. Crossbows are great for countering aerial assaults as well as they can be used to shoot down enemies with great accuracy and speed.
