Herobrine ( /'hɛro braɪn/) is one of the original Creators of Minecraft and the leader of the Herobrine Forces.
He used to merely be an 'observer', and continued to make subtle changes to the game so the creatures of Minecraft could overcome their challenges. However, the Villagers continued to suffer and the Players continued to fight. Herobrine decided to force his powers on the mobs of the world and take action. Thus, all the deceased bodies of Players are turned into Herobrine Vessels to cleanse the world. He wishes that no one had to suffer and just wanted to stop suffering forever. He serves as the main antagonist in the Annoying Villagers series.
Appearance[]
Herobrine depicts the default Player skin of Minecraft's creepypasta 'Herobrine'. As thus, he shares a near identical skin to Steve, only distinguished by the iconic and distinctive representative of his type, which are his glowing eyes. Herobrine bears a dark-brown bowl haircut and has a light brown skin complexion. He wears a turquoise t-shirt, indigo long pants, and grey shoes. His skin possesses different textures and pattern lineage of dark markings. The most distinguishable feature of Herobrine is his red cape.
Personality[]
Unlike his vessel counterparts, Herobrine is a benevolent and gentle individual who is neither intimidating nor tyrannical. He displays a good-hearted and compassionate nature, always trying to offer guidance to the creatures of the world (Players and Villagers alike). A thoughtful and considerate person, he notices the creatures of his world suffering and decides to help them enough not to be intrusive, but to plant the seed for their journeys.
Herobrine is often in a melancholic mood, looking sad as he floats in the air and observes the world of Minecraft. He only wanted to love the creatures he helped to protect, since his actions are motivated out of love for the players and to stop them from fighting. Even when his help was seemingly rejected his resolve was not deterred and forced his help on them. He believed that this was the responsibility of his power and his status of a "God". Sometimes, Herobrine has very abrupt emotion changes with bursts of anger, yelling out loudly and glitching out.

Background[]
In the past, Herobrine was a Creator who observed the players and saw that despite being given this world, they were suffering and felt alone in the world. Herobrine, wanting to help, began to help the creatures of Minecraft through subtle ways such as building structures and leaving chests with items inside for them to plant the seed for their journey. Despite this, Herobrine wished to teach the players and hoped that they loved their world as much as he loved them so they would stop suffering and be happy.
However, tension began rising between players due to their differing views and they began getting greedy by enslaving villagers, At this, Herobrine observed and saw that their attacks were just cries for help, and that they were confused, thinking that if they couldn't ask for help, hurting others would solve their problems. Understanding them, Herobrine began to help them, only to be rejected countless times. Tired of this, Herobrine decided to force his help onto the players even if they rejected him, one of his methods being to send a horde of zombies to attack a village, despite knowing the disaster he would cause, Herobrine believed he was doing the responsible thing, but still vowed to find an alternative solution to solve their problems as the players would have to endure his current methods.
Meeting Chris[]
At some point, likely after Chris became one of his vessels, Herobrine brought him atop a mount in a shattered savanna biome. There, Herobrine narrated his backstory, and explained that all he had done for the players are only for their good so they could stop suffering and hurting themselves.
Attending the Games[]
After hearing a divine mob permitting demons to join the tournament, Herobrine gathered his vessels in the realm to include them in the games. However another Creator Entity with his clones entered his realm from a portal, intending to fight him. But before, he asked what happened to Herobrine. In response, Herobrine asked him back about the world's situation.
Skills and Abilities[]
Herobrine, as a Creator, possess God powers for his purposeful role to oversee the world. While not much of his abilities are shown, he has been portrayed to be able to levitate high from the ground and possess beings to do his bidding, such as the zombies and, most notably, players. He is also implied to be able to create mobs such as Iron Golems, generated structures such as ruined portals, and items such as when he continually gifted Blue items in a chest and flowers.
