–An Iron Golem Warrior threateningly roars after being summoned , Annoying Villagers 37 |
Iron Golem Warriors, otherwise known as Berserker Golems are a subfaction of the Villager Kingdom. They serve as summonable troops and are part of the kingdom's formidable military.
Overview[]
The Iron Golem Warriors are considered to be the Villager Kingdom's breed of Iron Golems. They are faster through their quadrupedal nature and, despite showing small signs of sentience, are intelligent, being able to utilize their super strength to man heavy weapons such as battle axes.
Iron Golem Warriors' anatomy resemble that of a normal Iron Golem with a well-built body made by the villagers. The main difference is that they have many bits of grayish armor on their bodies and wear a Villager Knight Helmet. Their jaws are openable, further amplifying their menacing appearance. Lastly, their helmets' mohawk and chest piece bit may be blue, red, purple, or magenta depending on the variant.
All Iron Golem Warriors have complete obedience towards their masters, as such, they lack a sense of fear and will valiantly rush towards their opponents if ordered to without risking their lives.
The original Iron Golem Warriors seen in Annoying Villagers 37 weren't equipped with any weapon and merely used their fists to deal damage. However, as described by Dinnerbone, the Iron Golem Warriors have since been improved and the current golem warriors have a much more refined and sharp movements and are equipped with dual diamond battle axes. The last upgrade they have is that they now have TNTs hidden within their body which allows them to explode at any time, therefore mimicking the creepers. They are also able to dash in short distances.
As stated by Dinnerbone "The Villagers knew they weren't naturally well suited for combat, so they invented something to compensate." Iron Golem Warriors are summoned by villagers using Maneuver 65. The Blue and Red Variant of Iron Golem Warriors are brought to wars and battles offensively, while the purple variants are used as a defense and guards of the Villager King's Decoys in the Villager Kingdom.
History[]
As the Villager Kingdom grew, the villagers realized they weren't naturally well suited for combat and their normal iron golems were too weak against the evolving threats. To compensate this, they upgraded their iron golems and invented the Iron Golem Warriors, powerful and fearless creatures to assist the villagers in combat.
In Annoying Villagers 37, multiple Iron Golem Warriors are summoned to attack a group of Illager Forces. One of the Iron Golem warriors rushed straight into battle, which it managed to grab a zombie which it threw over to the side of the Villager Knights. It then was killed by the jaws of a ravager. Another one was summoned right away. Later in the battle, one is ordered to attack a player. It later throws a pink colored iron block at the player, knocking him into the middle of the battlefield. One is later seen being killed by Blue Demon.
At some point, the Villager Kingdom made improvements on the golem warriors. They refined and smoothened their movements and equipped them with diamond halberds.
In Annoying Villagers 42, in one of Dinnerbone's observations, Villager Knights along with Iron Golem Warriors are seen attacking an Illager Forces garrison. In another observation, several purple Golem Warriors are seen guarding the Villager King's Decoys
In Annoying Villagers 54, Some Red Iron Golem Warriors fought the Alliance, but all were destroyed. Soon, the Villager Nobles had revealed constructing a new form of Red Iron Golems to raid The Alliance. These new golem warriors had been fitted with TNTs on the inside to act as creepers if needed. It was shown that the Villager King had had possibly dozens to hundreds of these new Iron golems made. Despite their upgrades, they have never been seen using TNT against the Alliance.
In Annoying Villagers 59, New Red Iron Golem Warriors fought the Alliance as reinforcements and took out some members but still failed, due to the Red Villager Knights becoming Zombie Villagers.
In Annoying Villagers 63, several red Iron Golem Warrior was fighting Glaive Herobrine, but they were outmaneuvered and taken down by the nimble vessel.
