The Nether Forces are a faction in Annoying Villagers series. They are composed of mobs indigenous to the Nether, hence their name, namely Piglins, Hoglins, and Endermen, who are committed to protect their homeland from the invading Players. The Nether Forces first debuted on Annoying Villagers 45. They are likely led by the Netherite Zombie Piglin.
Overview[]
As the name suggests, the faction's members are composed of nether native mobs, such as Piglins, Hoglins, and possibly Endermen, although it is unconfirmed whether Ghasts and Wither Skeletons are included as well. Their main motives are to protect their homeland from the invading players who wishes to harvest the “power of the update”, and transform the “old Nether” into the “new Nether”. They also seek to take over the overworld.
Despite being a relatively new faction since the recent "Nether Update", the faction's technology is powerful nonetheless and clearly can't be underestimated at. Some of them, likely the high-ranking ones, possess netherite-tier items, the most powerful tier in Minecraft, making them very tough combatants compared to other mobs. In addition, they are the only faction known to craft and utilize Ballista, which is used as a heavy machined weapon that was able to kill a player with one shot.
