Pillager Outposts are structures built by Pillagers in Annoying Villagers series. One of them made their debut in Annoying Villagers 42, which is partly destroyed by Blue Demon. A more intact one was seen in Annoying Villagers 45, set right next to a desert temple.

Overview

Pillager Outposts are tall watchtowers composed of dark oak wood and planks, cobblestone, and birch planks, along with dark oak planks flooring. They have two Illager Forces hanging on each side of the tower.

A Pillager Outpost, hence the name, is guarded by Pillagers, and are presumably built in areas distant to the Illager Forces' territory. There are also several smaller structures around the watchtower, such as small white tents and target dummies.

History

Annoying Villagers 43 and Annoying Villagers 44 were set in a ruined pillager outpost, where Blue Demon narrated his backstory to Steve and assigned him a new mission. Several Pillagers spied on them to launch an ambush, but were unexpectedly slaughtered by a bunch of chickens.

In Annoying Villagers 45, an intact pillager outpost was seen briefly, guarded by several pillagers. Steve and Fuzzy Cloud hid behind a nearby sand pile to presumably prepare to launch an ambush.

In Annoying Villagers 62, it is revealed that after the Blue Demon, Steve, Fuzzy Cloud, and the chickens' departure, the ruined outpost were visited by the Illager King and his troops, surprised to see the destroyed outpost.

Trivia

• It is possible that other Pillager Outposts were built in other biomes such as plains and savanna just like in the base game, but so far, they are only seen being built within the desert.
