Resistance Desert Camp Raid

Resistance Desert Camp Raid or The Desert War was a major event and story arc which lasted from Annoying Villagers 50 to 55. The event features Blue Demon raiding the camp with some members of his rebellion, while Swordsman Herobrine and Herobrine Greg teleport in the camp in an attempt to locate Blue Demon, but then end up massacring Players to be revived into Herobrine Vessels. Much later, the Illager King enters the camp as well, to hunt for the traitor and eliminates a few vessels on his way.

Prelude[]

Resistance Dessert Camp

The Resistance Desert Camp, the setting of this story arc

At some point, The Resistance presumably built the Resistance Desert Camp to expand and train their numbers and to use it as a secondary base. Many of the Resistance members stayed there while some stayed back at the Resistance Underground Base. Although, no one knew at the time, that many Herobrine Vessels and Mr. Oinkers had infiltrated the camp, working as double agents for quite some time.

Before the Resistance Desert Base Camp Raid, Blue Demon and his pig companion were already preparing and planning a attack on the player base. They started by sending Mr. Oinkers to the Resistance Player Tribe as a spy, he eventually earn the player's trusts by leading them to "free tridents" littered on the battlefield. These ''lonely tridents'' are super charged by Blue Demon, and were left on the battlegrounds on purpose. With Mr. Oinkers tricking the players into collecting the tridents, as they would become important assets to him during the raid.

Blue Demon's Attack[]

After Blue Demons skirmish with the Herobrine vessels, Blue Demon ran towards the Resistance Base with troops of vessels chasing him (were invisible to the players). After reaching the outer camp of the player base, he was spotted by players scouting on the walls. Two players (SoggyPizza & Mc_haowei) took out their crossbows and started shooting at Blue Demon, who deflected all of the arrows with a few swings of his tridents. While Blue Demon is still running towards the wall, Mr. Oinkers, who happens to be with the players scouting on the wall (25darkstar), used his ability, of forming a lighting sphere and blast the three players off the wall, two of which were sniping Blue Demon.

When Blue Demon finally reached the wall, while deflecting arrows from three player disguised as vessels, he jumps up the wall with his electric energy and activates all charged tridents around him (lonely tridents lying on the ground and in chests). One of the vessels from the Herobrine troops who were following Blue Demon reveals himself and opens a portal which summoned two blaster types vessels, they jumped up to the top of the wall trying to ambush Blue Demon. But when they got up, Blue Demon turned around and greeted them with a giant explosion created by redirecting his electric powers into the trident he's throwing and the player collected tridents, which wiped out all six vessels instantly. He then went for the portal and destroyed it along with one other vessel going through the portal. (It was unclear how he destroyed the portal as it was portrayed in the mini-map style)

Herobrine's Harvesting[]

A little time after Blue Demons skirmish, Herobrine Greg is able to get an estimated location of where Blue Demon is at, and begins activating his teleportation ability with Swordsman Herobrine by his side. The two are then teleported to the Resistance Desert Camp (inner portion of the camp) where Herobrine Greg immidiatly begins processing the data from all nearby vessels. He tells Swordsman Herobrine that many vessels had been destroyed and thats its time to replenish. A player (Arslan S.) then spots the two of them, and yells "Intruders! Sound off the Alarm!" alerting the many nearby players who quickly make their way to the intruders and begin to surround them. The two vessels then scan all of the surrounding players and conclude that many of them are worthy vessels. Swordman Herobrine then yells "Time to harvest!" multiuple times, each time getting more excited until his sword awakens.

One of the players (Flanker) who was standing on the roof, then tells all of the players to shoot at them from a distance and to protect the archers, as he believed the two intruders did not have any ranged weapons. Swordsman Herobrine then tells his sword to transform into its second form, which the sword then transforms as Herobrine Greg creates a portal next to a line of unknowing players. The sword then travels through the portal and strikes multiple players (Dodge Course, 303killyouVelmar Alive, Pigeon-G, WannaCurry), then turns around and strikes the row of archers (Wither, shuguangFOS ). One of the surviving players (303killyou) is able to dodge several of the attacks and eventually jumps in in for a strike on Swordsman Herobrine, but ultimatly fails as the sword swiftly impales him. Swordsman Herobrine then eliminates a couple more noobish players (Shadow_Reaper, shuguangFOS). And proceeds attacking the remaining players.

Two of the remaining archers (Foxjin, TheQuinYuHsy) then begin shooting a barrages of arrows Swordsman Herobrine whom is able to block every single arrow fired at him. Meanwhile, two melee oriented players then run at him, one on the ground (G) and one on the roof (Flanker). The player on the roof then attemps to strike Swordsman Herobrine from above but fails and is knocked away. The two players then attempt to run away but one is quickly impaled through his back and the other is defeated shortly after. Shortly after, two more melee oriented players (DNAx, Mr. Shadow) attempt to attack him but are quickly overwheled and decide to retreat and regroup. Suddenly more portals appear, bringing zombies to the battle. The remaining players (DNAx, Mr.Shadow, Dodge Course, Arslan S., Foxjin, QingYuy) then begin fighting the zombies until Swordman Herobrine finds them and begins eliminating them.

Arrival of the King[]

Right before Fuzzy Cloud was about to finish off Steve, Woopie the Sword (Steve's primary weapon at the time) who was broken, and was being held by a nearby player (Ghost_Ganba) decides that the the only option left is to call in the Illager King. Two enderpearls then fly in towards Steve, intercepting Fuzzy Clouds wind ball. Suddenly, a familiar player to Steve appears before him, blocking the attack (Mr. Colder). Fuzzy Cloud is then nearly struck by an all too familiar weapon to him, only to have his sunglasses destroyed. The weapon who belongs to the Illager king then retracts. After the Illager king mocks Fuzzy Cloud, he begins to explain to Steve that the sheep is the true enemy that seeks to destroy the world. Fuzzy Cloud then decides to retreat, leaving Steve and his other allies involved in the desert camp raid. The Illager king then begins attacking Steve.

Right before the Illager Kings weapon was about to strike Steve, he stops the weapon. And tells Steve that unlike others he has control and is not a wild animal who seeks to destroy. He then explains some of his reasons for fighting and tells him that the mobs he had been surrounding himself with are not who he thinks they are, and calls them criminals for betraying the United Mob Association. He continues on saying how the Blue Demon is the most dangerous and that he had fooled him several times. He then tells Steve that he will be helping him with eliminating the Blue Demon, and gives him an enchanted horn item and tells him to use it, once he is back with the Blue Demon and while he is resting. He then tells Steve that if he does not follow through with the plan he would feed Whoopie the Sword to his weapon (Whoopie being held by Mr. Colder). He then places an ender chest on the ground and tells Steve to equip himself. Suddenly, Herobrine vessels blow a hole in the wall of the desert camp and run at the trio. The Illager king tells Steve to never fear them as it gives them their power, he then easily eliminates a few of them. An axe suddenly flies out of the chest and puts itself in Steve's hand, and begins to introduce itself. Suddenly, a mysterious figure appears from a portal which had just generated near them, striking Steve with his sword, knocking the axe from his hand, then pulling Steve into the portal. The Illager King only catches a glimpse of Steve being pulled away.

The Illager king then makes his way into the desert camp destroying more Herobrine vessels along the way. After a bit of time, massive chain explosions begin occurring throughout the desert camp, which the Illager king ends up being caught in one of them. He manages to survive and immediately calls in a few of his purple vex minions to lift him up into the sky, where he then flies around, observing the damage. He then spots a severely injured hooded figure surrounded in obsidian. He then realizes that the Blue Demon had been fighting the figure, but could no longer sense his presence, believing that Blue Demon had been defeated. He then lands near the figure begins attacking him, deeming him a threat. Suddenly, several Herobrine vessels begin attacking the Illager King from all dirrections, but most are quickly defeated. Eventually, he is able to knock out Swordsman Herobrine, standing in front of him, viewing several more Herobrine vessels who had come to aid Swordsman Herobrine.

Suddenly, Blue Demon arrives standing off to the side and tells the Illager King to finish off the vessel as it would be his only chance. And warns him that it would come back stronger if he didn't. The Illager King, who was startled by Blue Demon's presence, hesitates, and tells himself that he doesn't want to do what Blue Demon tells him to do. Suddenly a voice (Herobrine) coming from all of the several vessels, begins telling them that he has not lost, and asks them how they can defeat something that exist everywhere. That something being hate, existing in everyone's heart and mind, he explains. He ends off with saying that "we have only just begun" when suddenly a warden appears behind the Illager King and an unconscious Swordsman Herobrine. The illager king immediately propels himself away in shock that he had not been able to sense the creatures presence. It then picks up Swordman Herobrine and sticks him into his stomach, then teleports away. The Illager king then looks around as all of the vessels drop dead to the ground.

The Illager king is later seen noticing Steve flying off with Betty the Bat.

Aftermath[]

  • Several surviving players including the Resistance leader stayed to rebuild the desert camp.
  • Several surviving players of the raid had deserted the Resistance.
  • Blue Demon and his allies are teleported away after their encounter with Angry Steve.
  • The Illager King rides his horse away from the desert camp
  • After Steve is brought to Entity303's realm; Entity303 tells Steve that he wants to help Steve by sending him on a inner journey. Ultimately, things go wrong, and one of Steve's aspects, Angry Steve, is able to take full control of Steve. Steve, shortly after returns to the overworld and encounters Blue Demon. The two fight and shortly after Blue Demon teleports away with his allies.
  • Several Players join Mr. Colder and train for the Second Tournament of the Gods.
