The Ruby[1] Greatsword is a given name for the greatsword wielded by Notch and the Corrupted Iron Golem.
Overview[]
The Ruby Greatsword, hence the name, is a large, guardless sword with a short blue handle and ruby red pommel. Upwards, it has a long, ruby red blade, brimmed with mahogany edges.
Usage and Abilities[]
Ruby Greatsword seems to have the same usage as any other swords. BoopNotch moves the weapon telekinetically to attack Armored Herobrine and distract it. In addition, it is incredibly sharp, able to easily cut obsidian if used correctly, as demonstrated by Corrupted Iron Golem.
Lore[]
Ruby Greatsword made its brief debut in Annoying Villagers 36, where Notch created one and launched it telekinetically towards Armored Herobrine, which was deflected easily, though distracting him.
In Annoying Villagers 46, Corrupted Iron Golem attained the Ruby Greatsword once he entered the Full Powered Ruby Aura state. He delivered a burst of lightning-fast strikes with the greatsword to Shadow Herobrine, which heavily damaged him and destroyed his obsidian shield.
In Annoying Villagers 47, Corrupted Iron Golem utilized the Ruby Greatsword on his furious duel against Shadow Herobrine. The golem first smashed the greatsword to the ground, which shattered a part of Shadow Herobrine's obsidian, then attempted to strike it to Shadow Herobrine, though it was blocked by his obsidian. After a short standoff, the golem brandished the greatsword, destroying Shadow Herobrine's obsidian shield and knocked him back slightly. The golem then struck him with the big sword twice, only to be evaded by Shadow Herobrine. The golem then barely managed to use the greatsword to shatter Shadow Herobrine's obsidian beam, and smashed his sword to him, only to be blocked by his obsidian fist. After being pushed back, the Corrupted Golem swiftly charged at Shadow Herobrine and smashed him with his greatsword, then he used the sword to barely block some of Shadow Herobrine's strikes.
