This article is about the player. For other uses, see Steve (Disambiguation).
Steve is a main protagonist in Annoying Villagers series. The assigned "Protector of the World" by Notch himself, he was ordered to protect the world and the creatures within it from any uprising evil. With his personal agenda to destroy Herobrine in order to avenge his fallen friends, Chris and Greg, he continues to embark his journey and discovers more about the world he's in.
Appearance[]
Steve is depicted as an adult man with a brown skin tone, dark blue eyes, and dark brown bowl hair. He wears a turquoise T-shirt, indigo jeans, and gray shoes. In combat, he wears a diamond chestplate and a diamond helmet, but when facing against very powerful opponents, he wears a full set of diamond armor. However this was before Blue Demon trained him to become a "perfect warrior", after which he barely wears armor.
Personality[]
With a true defender's personality, Steve has a determined and vengeful mind, who looks for defending the weak and avenging his fallen comrades. Such personality makes him admired by Notch the Creator of Minecraft himself. Steve has journeyed throughout the land making a life. Unlike other players, Steve has neutral feelings toward the Villagers as he let two villagers go in Annoying Villagers 18 after they were kidnapped by a player.
A peace-loving individual, Steve always tries to stop war from happening, though constantly troubled by the warring sides’ unchanged hostility, not sure how to stop the fight once and for all. He is an extremely skilled fighter. As such, he is a veteran he knows even the oldest things of Minecraft and never uses his skills unnecessarily beyond his purview. He somehow now lowers his guard because of Sad Steve and would try to act like Angry Steve (who is now in his control). He now also feels broken and cannot truly change the world which then an aspect of Chris in the past teached him.
Relationships[]
Chris[]
Steve's most notable friend throughout the series. Steve had a similar empathy with him among the weak, as shown when he was first met him. At this moment Chris begs Steve to train him to become stronger. Steve agrees not knowing that this will lead to an eventually long-lasting friendship together with Greg. As mentioned, they completed hundreds of missions together, with Steve being the commander. As they went to their final mission, Chris finally had the opportunity to save Steve: making a boat in order for him to escape but leaving him behind. Steve gazed as he presumed that his friends were killed by Herobrine.
His death had a huge impact to Steve throughout the series and often have flashbacks with him and remembering his cherished moments with him.
Boop and Mr. Fudgemonkeyz[]
Steve saved Boop and Mr. Fudgemonkeyz from zombies and from Herobrine, but got injured in the process. Boop and Mr. Fudgemonkeyz saved Steve by trying to get him to a hospitable. When Steve finally awoke from his comma, he decided to leave Boop and Mr. Fudgemonkeyz, thinking that he will just cause them trouble. So Steve leaves them while they were asleep and starts a new journey.
Steve goes on to fight numerous enemies, like Grave and the Blue Demon. He is weakened again and again but stands by his beliefs. When Steve is fighting, he often has to shake himself up to remind himself who he is. He constantly sees Greg, Chris, Boop, and Mr. Fudgemonkeyz on the beach when Herobrine turned his friends into Herobrine vessels. Steve always seems to find the two in his dreams and nightmares, often because Steve thinks that he failed them and failed to protect them.
Skills and Abilities[]
Steve, as the one who was assigned by Notch to defend the world, possesses an excellent fighting skills, he even defeated two Villager Knights without armor and defeated Grave's tribe with ease. He is a very proficient fighter especially at close combat with Grave. He is also a very excellent pro stunner and dodger, able to perform various stunts and flips to avoid attempted attacks. Not only that, Steve is also adept in martial arts, as he is able to defeat many foes unarmed with a set of kicks, punches, and sometimes even headbutts.
In addition, Steve is shown to have a competence in close combat. He was shown to defeat numerous mobs using swords, either standard swords or giant blades such as Legendary Sword and Diamond Durandal. He is also a considerable marksman, proficient in archery and is able to throw Ender Pearls efficiently at the exact desired landing spot. As an experienced leader, Steve is a wise man and a fighter, studying how his enemy moves and predicting their attacks. He also utilizes various unconventional combat items as weapons, such as crafting tables, stone slabs, and enchanted doors as close range or defensive weapons.
Despite his notable experience and skills, his full extent of power is often halted by his naivety and consideration to others which came from his Sad aspect, which usually leads to his fall. After his Angry aspect takes over however, he is noticeably stronger, as he's more ruthless and inconsiderate to his opponents.
After being defeated by the Blue Demon and witnessing the defeat of two players from The Resistance, Steve was trained by Blue Demon to become "the perfect warrior". During this period, Steve was educated by Blue Demon to rely less on his items, and he was forced to do so as his items were taken by Blue Demon after his defeat. His traning results were apparent when he used his body skills (plus a few pole-arms taken by force) to deafeat a few illagers. Steve's combat skills and sharpened mind is further shown when he first came across a player of the Resistance, who wields the power of "black fire". Though first bewildered at the player's never-seen-before ability, Steve managed to hold his ground with a Villager Knight Sword and a Gold helmet against a Diamond set (no helmet) with a sword with black pyrokinesis.
