The Resistance is a major faction in the Annoying Villagers series founded by X Grave X that consists of Players only, mainly those of Minecraft avatars from patrons supporting MrFudgeMonkeyz's Minecraft animations.

The clan operates independently as the largest Player tribe in Minecraft that opposes everything. The members are assigned to different ranks based on their skill-level, such as looting and raiding other Player tribes, to taking care of the underground farm. They launch attacks on Villager Scouts and add them to their personal trading system. Players are now assigned one of two roles based on their skill-set: 'Fighter' or 'Builder.'

Flag Philosophy[]

The Resistance's flag depicts the Phoenix, a mythical bird within the ancient Greek folklore that is able to live again from its ashes of its previous death[1]. As described by Grave, this symbolizes their motives to make Players the most dominating species in Minecraft once again, over the villagers and other mobs.

Motives[]

The Resistance's main purpose is to survive as a clan, eliminate the Villagers “from the face of this Earth”, and make the players the most dominating species in Minecraft again, or at least, that's what the more powerful members morally desire. Some of them do not desire to build and conquer, and are perhaps, “more innocent.” The most likely reason some of them joined the Resistance, was solely for the purpose of survival and seeking safety under shelter, as being one of the more feared clans, they are presumably going to be less-targeted by the villagers and other player tribes.

Though, others simply do it out of their free will and follow along with their given task and orders. One of them even though it was just a mere “Minecraft Club”, and another one just thought Minecraft was a “home decorating game.” This goes to show, that many do not take things seriously and are unbeknownst of the current situation the world is in.

Hierarchy and Ranking System[]

As Napalm explained to Skymint, each player has a different ranking in their player tribe’s hierarchy and system, depending on the number of members in their tribe; They can range from small clans and large clans. In short, they can be of any size and variety.

Each of them is assigned with different tasks, depending on their ranking in their clan. Some of them with lower rankings are assigned with small tasks, such as taking care of the underground farm,(Napalm and Skymint for example) providing food and sustenance vital to the clan’s survival. These players are withheld from going into the open and stay inside the clan’s headquarters.

Others with a slightly higher ranking, such as the Junior Captains (Willibear123, MyIgnIsSpecial, and HeroDoge154) are allowed to venture into the open and carry out specific tasks, in this case, scouting for “The White Eyed Demon.” Or to recruit new players. It is unknown if they are allowed to perform raids on other Villagers or player tribes.

Then, there are the ”Higher Ranked” members of the clan (Bingo_Bear, My_Moustacheo), who often go scout around for nearby Villagers and players and perform raids on them. They plot and strategize their attacks as well as set out traps with their leader and often spend their time capturing Villagers and adding them to their personal trading system, or slaughtering and looting players of their items.

Continuing on, there’s the Second-in-Command, (My_Moustacheo) who has the second-highest ranking, the second most respected and most likely the second-best and skilled. The leader is bound to entrust the player with the bigger tasks and most of the time lean to the player much more than the rest of the members. If their leader falls, the clan turns to the Second-in-command and from there on, looks up to the player as their newly appointed leader.

And finally, there’s the leader (X_Grave_X), who plays the biggest role in the player tribe. He succinctly explains and communicates his orders, specific tasks, and instructions to his fellow comrades to decisively secure their clan a victory. He expects the high ranking players to be able to delegate, as well as trustworthy, confident, and most importantly, must uphold responsibility for any failure.

History[]

The clan was created a while after the Villager Kingdom‘s growth expanded across the world. Its founder was X_Grave_X, and created the tribe for the purpose of being a hope for the players on the war against Villagers. Their growth expanded as the number of members also did. Overtime they became the largest and most powerful player tribe in the world.

They soon moved into the desert and built a desert camp. Soon they encountered enemies from different sides such as Blue Demon's Rebellion, the Herobrine Forces, the Illager King from the Illager Forces, Steve on his lonesome. They lost many members of the tribe resulting many casualties.

Preparations for the Second Tournament of the Gods[]

After the Desert War, some members have deserted them while the rest stayed to prove their loyalty to Grave as they repaired the damage of the desert camp. Soon they encountered Joe the Pufferfish and fought him, but many were defeated. Later, a divine mob appeared and asked them about an invitation.
