Tridents are a reoccurring weapon within Annoying Villagers series. They made their debut in Annoying Villagers 33 in the hands of Blue Demon.

Overview

Tridents are long blue spears with a white three-forked tip. The tip would glow in a bright white color if charged with energy, notably from Blue Demon's signature energy. The only way to obtain them is by killing drowned zombies equipped with them. Blue Demon is also born with one upon his transformation into a drowned.

Usage and Abilities

Tridents are generally used as both melee and ranged weapon. Players have been seen using tridents, though they aren't using those for combat purposes. Mainly, the tridents' electrical abilities come from Blue Demon.

Lightning Infusion is the ability to infuse lightning energy into certain objects. Only Blue Demon can do this, who is able to store his signature energy into his tridents upon touch, which can be used as an energy reserve. If charged with enough energy, a trident can cause a huge explosion upon impact that annihilates any entities and blocks within its vicinity. A charged trident can also releases its lightning energy at Blue Demon's will, causing an electrical shock that paralyzes and hurts anyone close to the trident.
