It is unknown in his past, but he joined the Resistance in order to survive.
Soon, he joined players who stayed at the Resistance Desert Camp.
During the Resistance Desert Camp Raid, when Swordsman Herobrine and Herobrine Greg entered the inner camp, Velmar was one of the players attempted to attack but failed and got killed by the Demoniac Voltage Reaver wielded by the Swordsman Herobrine.
