Vexes are a devilish species of mobs in the Annoying Villagers series. They are part of the Illager Forces and are summoned by Evokers.

Overview

Vexes have white leathery wings, as well as a devilish smile. Vexes are also shown to have completely light blue skin. A variant of vexes known as Warrior Vexes have an altered appearance, bearing a purple skin instead of light blue along with a brown scar throughout their body. Both variants also wield their signature iron swords with glowing blade. Some of them also appear enchanted.

Main articles: Annoying Villagers 38 and Annoying Villagers 40

The Evokers summoned three vexes to fight against Blue Demon. Two of them swooped towards Blue Demon, but they were pummeled easily. Another one attacked Steve, only to be slashed by Mr.Colder. Blue Demon then proceeded to impale one last surviving vex.

Arrival of the King

Main article: Annoying Villagers 40

After Blue Demon defeated Mr.Colder and Enchanter, two Warrior Vexes were seen flying above the Illager King and his two Illager Riders. It is unknown what happened to them afterwards, but they were most likely killed by Blue Demon.

Resistance Desert Camp Raid

Main article: Annoying Villagers 55

The Warrior Vexes who are enchanted noticed their king was knocked and safely held their king up and brought him safely on the ground. The Illager King then tells his Warrior Vexes to stay hidden. The Vexes did and disappeared after this when their king was prepared to defeat Swordsman Herobrine.

Skills and Abilities

Alike to the ones in Minecraft, vexes have the ability to agilely fly and glide on the air, with a degree of skills using their swords. They can also disappear by staying hidden but this only seen by the Enchanted Warrior Vexes in Annoying Villagers 55,

• Vexes can’t talk and don't have subtitles. Instead, they cackle.
• Vexes can't phase through blocks in the series.
