The Warriors of Peace were a trio of extremely skilled players chosen by the Creator Notch to ensure the balance of peace within Minecraft. They were led by Steve.

The Warriors of Peace were a trio of players selected by Notch and were assigned to perform various missions which all were presumably for peace balancing, true to their name.
Indeed, the Warriors of Peace were very powerful and equipped with the strongest of armaments for their very noble goal. Among their arsenal are the Legendary Weapons, weapons blessed with untold power, one of them being the Legendary Sword. In addition, they always don fully enchanted diamond armor in missions.
Under Steve's leadership, the Warriors of Peace were a successful group, accomplishing all of the missions assigned upon them. Sadly however, even the most powerful group will eventually crumble. In one mission in a distant jungle island, Greg and Chris were apprehended and soon converted into brainwashed vessels, leaving Steve as the sole surviving member. Since then, the trio has disbanded, each individual taking their own path as the series progresses.
